Delta State Governor, His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori, has officially announced the appointment of prominent football player agent, Paul Omamomo, as the new Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Sports.

The appointment, which was confirmed by the Office Of SSG, is seen as a strategic move to leverage Omamomo’s extensive experience and network within the global sports community.

For over a decade, Paul Ojo Omamomo,has been instrumental in securing deals for several Nigerian players both locally and internationally, earning him a reputation as a key player in the country’s football ecosystem.

The Governor’s decision to bring in a professional of Omamomo’s caliber reflects a commitment to revitalizing the state’s sports sector. 

The appointment has been described as a testament to Omamomo’s standing in the football community. He is widely recognized as a “super-agent” in Nigeria, having facilitated numerous transfers for Nigerian players to European leagues

The appointment has been met with positive reactions from sports stakeholders in the state, who believe Omamomo’s understanding of the business side of sports will lead to tangible progress and create new opportunities for young athletes.
