Prominent football intermediary and development advocate, Paul Omamomo Ojo, has expressed profound gratitude to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, following his appointment as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA). 

Omamomo, known for his vast network in global football and talent scouting, emphasized that his new role is not a privilege but a solemn call to service for the people of Delta State.

Speaking to Nigeriasportsnews Correspondent , Nwosu Chigozie, shortly after the announcement, the newly appointed SSA offered a heartfelt message of appreciation, while immediately setting a clear tone for his tenure.

“I thank His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his vision and trust in entrusting me with this responsibility at such a crucial time,” Omamomo stated.

 “The Governor’s MORE Agenda is a blueprint that is already changing lives, and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure its success, particularly within the sports sector.”

Omamomo, who has previously served on the Local Organising Committee for the 2025 National Youth Games, assured the people of Delta State that his focus would be on delivering visible and impactful change in sports in the state.

Omamomo’s transition from the world of football agency to government administration is expected to inject a professional, globally-aware perspective into the state’s sports policy, aiming to transform Delta State into a leading hub for talent discovery and development in Nigeria.
